Silvio Barbato is fascinated by digital art. He enhances the quality of his traditional photographies thanks to grahic editing softwares and creates digital paintings as well.

The digital painting that we are studying today was entitled ”rappresenta colori e profumi dell’alta sensualità orientale”. It can be translated as : “The deep and colorful representation of  luxurious eastern sensuality’. Apparently, the name was chosen to be very explicit…

A Glorified version of the East

Silvio is well known for paying attention to details.

There are plenty of ornaments and eastern objetcs in his work “rappresenta colori”. One could think that the level of details could be a liabillity but it is not the case. The foreground is not as cluttered as the background which balances the artwork.

Futermore, the eastern creations are well rendered and display highly saturated colors.

Lastly, the various depth effects spawned by the good shadow management makes “rappresenta” look more professional.

The East has been glorified…Way to go !
